Meet the Doctors
Dr. Jennifer Niemczyk
Dr. Niemczyk is a 2003 graduate of the University of Minnesota. She began work at Animal Medical Center of Appleton in June 2004. She loves her career and enjoys working with all types of creatures and their owners. She resides in rural Malone with her husband, daughter, son, one dog, two cats, one bird and several guinea pigs. She enjoys crafts, gardening, baking, reading, 4-H and the outdoors. She and her husband are remodeling their farmhouse, so they always have a project going.
Dr. Christine Barber
Dr. Barber received her veterinary degree from the University of Minnesota in 1994. She worked for one year as a small animal veterinarian in Anchorage, Alaska, before returning to Wisconsin to work at Animal Medical Center of Appleton. She enjoys veterinary medicine and all the variety of animals she gets to help, especially the exotics. Her other interests include four-wheeling, reading (Stephen King mostly), movies and watching Packers games. She lives in Appleton with her longtime boyfriend Joe and their two cats.
Meet the Staff
Therese has worked as a receptionist at Animal Medical Center since 1989. She lives in the country with her husband Clarke, two horses, three dogs and two cats. Therese and Clarke love the outdoors, traveling and sailing.
Terri has been a veterinary technician at Animal Medical Center since 1995. She received her Certified Veterinary Technician degree in March 2009 after intense study on her own. She frequently attends continuing education classes in her areas of interest, which include dentistry, exotics and wildlife. Terri has been volunteering for the past five years as a certified wildlife rehabilitator and educator. She works closely with the education-based group Wind River Wildlife Rehabilitation. Outside the clinic, Terri spends time with her husband Chad and stepson Andrew. Activities they share are vintage car shows, concerts, hiking and biking. They share their home with two cats, many exotics and any wildlife in need.
Tracy has been working as a veterinary assistant at Animal Medical Center for 13 years. She has great compassion for the patients and their owners. In her free time, she spends time watching Packer games with her husband, Gerry, and spends time with her two grandchildren. She has two cats at home.
Nicky has been a Veterinary Assistant at Animal Medical Center since 2006. She has a teenage daughter she loves spending time with and they love shopping, traveling around and seeing new things together. She has been working with animals since she was 5 years old, from her own pets to the Humane Society and Finally Veterinary clinics. Although she has no pets of her own at this time, she loves to spend time spoiling her furry nephews and nieces.
Kelley has been a receptionist with Animal Medical Center since 2017. When not at the clinic she enjoys spending time with her husband going to car shows, watching sporting events, gardening, and spoiling the many furry critters she helps to care for.
Allie is a receptionist at Animal Medical Center. She is originally from Michigan but lived in Texas for two years before settling in Appleton. When not at the clinic she enjoys spending time with her fiancé Zachary, their fur babies Clem, Amira, Princess Frederick, and their fish Sushi. In her free time Allie is either wedding planning, trying new breweries, going to football games, visiting friends and family in Michigan, or crafting.
